Ann Kupper Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 12, 2025.
Ann Seibert Kupper, age 97, passed away on Thursday, November 6th, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Ann was born in Louisville to the late Alva and Anna Seibert and was a graduate of Spalding College. As the matriarch of her large, loving family, Mom was always in her chair in the kitchen, welcoming everyone who came through the door. The kitchen was full of laughter, fun and babies. Her home was full of love. She enjoyed playing bridge and tennis and was a longtime member of St. Helen and St. Agnes Catholic Churches.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin J. Kupper; two sons, Damian and Joseph; a grandson, Stephen Lutes; a son-in-law, Tim Ecken; her sisters, Mary Kupper, Martha Hines, and Carolyn Crow; and her brother, Bill Seibert.

She is survived by ten children, Irvin, Jr. (Pat), Laura Ecken, Mark (Sally), Nancy Bellis (Billy), Tom (Kay), Edward (Dee), Ann Thomas, Michael (Karol), Teresa Lutes (Steve), and Amy Holmes (Steve); 33 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, November 14th, 2025, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1920 Newburg Road, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Thursday, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, The Addie and Baylor Foundation, or Home of the Innocents.
