Ann M. LaBarbera

Lewiston - Ann LaBarbera, 80, died Saturday, March 8. Ann was born in Rumford, Maine on December 25, 1945 to James and Elizabeth (Ball) Duran. She grew up in Newry, Maine and after graduating from Gould Academy moved to Portland, Maine. In Portland she met her husband of 51 years, the late Salvatore LaBarbera. They were married in 1967 and after living in Mexico, Maine for a few years they made their home in Rumford. In 1986 she returned to her childhood home in Newry and lived there until moving to Lewiston, Maine in 2011. Ann worked with her husband in their cleaning business, enjoyed traveling and working on her home. Ann was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed sharing her faith with others.

Ann is survived by her son Rob and wife Jeni LaBarbera, daughter Kara and husband Brian LeFort; four grandsons Sean and Jared LeFort and Zach and Antonio LaBarbera and two sisters Gloria Oakes and husband Clifford and Sandra Duran.

A funeral will be held on Saturday, March 21, 3:30PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 721 Webster St. Lewiston, ME 04240.
