Ann R. LaPorte, 89 of Connellsville died on Wednesday October 8, 2025 the Hillside Manor, Uniontown. She was born on April 12, 1936 in Connellsville a daughter of the late Ray J. and Mildred Louise Beatty Lunnen. Ann was a 1954 graduate of Connellsville High School and a graduate of the former California State Teachers College. She formerly taught for several years in the Connellsville Twp. Schools. She was a member of the Covenant Baptist Church in Uniontown. She is survived by two daughters, Lori Loss and her husband Randy of Camp Hill, Pa. and Becki LaPorte of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Brandon Loss and Kelland Loss and one brother, Ray Lunnen of State College, PA. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert F. LaPorte and a brother, Thomas Lunnen. Family and friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville on Monday October 20 from 6-8 P.M. and Tuesday October 21 from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. where services will be held on Wednesday October 22 at 10:00 A.M. with clergy from the Covenant Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park. Should one desire, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone NC 28607 in memory of Ann R. LaPorte.
