Marian Sue Bryson

Marian Sue (Augustine) Bryson, age 74 passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17 th at
Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg after a prolonged illness. She was born on
March 16, 1951, in Connellsville as the eldest daughter of the late Mary (John) and Clinton
Augustine.
Marian was the very proud mother of Bill (Nicole) Bryson of Mount Pleasant and Jeremy
Bryson (Nicole) of Ruffs Dale, who are also teachers. She was the proud grandmother of
Andy, Tucker and Mirabelle Bryson.
She is also survived by her siblings Monica (Roger) Seese of Uniontown, Martha (CW)
Kreimer of Pittsburgh, Matthew (Barbara) Augustine of Connellsville, Michael (Audra)
Augustine of Uniontown and half-brother Daniel Augustine of Connellsville.
Marian was a 1969 graduate of Father Geibel Catholic High School and a 1973 Graduate of
California State College with a degree in elementary education. She taught for many years
in the Connellsville School System and helped many students raise their reading skills and
scores and was a life mentor to many.
Marian was very proud of her Lebanese Heritage and enjoyed going to bingo at St. George
Maronite Church and other locations, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family
and friends. She was a wonderful and loving Aunt to her nieces and nephews (Kimberly
Seese Umbarger, Nicholas Seese, Aaron Kreimer and Samantha and Matthew Augustine)
and her great nieces. She will be missed by many including some wonderful extended
family, particularly her cousins, Joanne Herod and Joseph John, with whom she was in
frequent contact by phone.
Family and friends will be received from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC.
111 E, Green St., Connellsville where a Blessing Service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 A.M. followed by a
