Ann Latone, 86, of Austintown, passed away surrounded by her family and loved ones Saturday evening, June 22nd, at the Hospice House in Poland. 

She was born May 15, 1938 in Youngstown, a daughter of Dominic and Anna (Swiderska) Zatacowich.

Ann attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Youngstown and worked in retail for K-Mart for 25 years, retiring in 2004.

Ann was an avid sports fan and loved cheering on her favorite teams, the Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Tampa Bay Lightning. She also enjoyed NASCAR, playing her favorite dice game, LCR, (Left Center Right), and her favorite foods including lobster tails, sweets, and ice cream. Her greatest joy was spending quality time with her family, whom she dearly loved.

She is survived by her five children; Joseph (Lori) Latone, and Ronald (Fran) Latone, both of Austintown, Michelle (Jeff) Weekley, of Brunswick, OH, Tina (Damon) Oppenheimer, of Tampa, FL, and John (Renee) Latone, of Austintown. She also leaves behind twelve beloved grandchildren; Anthony (Alyse), Gregory, Allison, Stacey (Devin) , Angelia (Michael), Anthony "AJ", Alex, Dylan, Jared, Sierra (Javier), Julia (Luke), and Gehrig; a great granddaughter, Lydia "Sunshine"; and two sisters-in-law; Agnes Krut and Beverly (Al) Bagoly.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Henry "Hank", John, Nicholas, Steve, and Walter Krut; and three sisters; Olga English, Katherine Dempsey, and Stella Metcalf.

Private funeral services will be held Thursday, June 27th.

Ann will be laid to rest in the Tod Homestead Cemetery in Youngstown.

Arrangements for Ann are being provided by the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave., Austintown.
