Ann Visniskki Bunker Leseberg
1944 ~ 2025
Ann passed away peacefully from this life on August 25, 2025, in American Fork, Utah. She was born on April 17, 1944, in Glendale, California, and was the oldest of five children of Clyde and Venice Bunker. She was raised mostly in the Las Vegas, Nevada area, and graduated from Rancho High School in 1962.
Ann continued her education at Brigham Young University, graduating in 1966 with a bachelor's degree in sociology. While studying at BYU, she met and married Brent Leseberg. Together they raised four wonderful children, spending their early family life in Los Angeles, California, and later in Alpine, Utah.
Throughout her life, Ann was dedicated to caring for others. While raising her children, she worked in various retail jobs, and after they had grown, she returned to school to earn her certification as a nursing assistant. She worked in a nursing home caring for vulnerable patients and later spent most of her career as an in-home caregiver with Visiting Angels. Service was her lifelong calling, and she was happiest when looking after the needs of others.
Ann loved her family, friends, and neighbors deeply. She enjoyed reading, going to movies, quilting, crocheting, and above all, spending time with her family. She was known for her sense of fun, her generous heart, and her ability to make others feel loved. She served faithfully in various church callings, especially cherishing her time teaching Primary classes and serving in visiting teaching assignments.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the many caregivers at Stonehenge of American Fork for their kind and gentle care of Ann during the past few years. Their compassion will always be remembered with profound gratitude.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Venice Bunker, and her brother-in-law, Jim Mortensen (Monte). She is survived by her siblings, Monte Mortensen, Becky Gamett (Jim), Scott Bunker, and Chris Bunker(Becky); her children, Stefanie Healey (Ryan), Richard Leseberg (Kim), Trisa Westcott (Jason), and Kelly Leseberg (Brittany); 11 grandchildren and their spouses; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she treated as her own.
Ann's legacy is one of love, service, and devotion to family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Funeral Services for Ann will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 9:30 am in the Mountainville 2nd Ward Chapel, located at 165 North 100 East Alpine, Utah. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Warenski Funeral Home, located at 1776 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah and also at an additional viewing on Friday morning from 8:30-9:15 am prior to service at the church.
