Ann Marie Lubish, beloved daughter of the late Viviane and Stanley Lubish, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, at the age of 84. Born and raised in Chicago, Ann Marie was known for her warm heart, generous spirit, and lifelong commitment to education and service.

A dedicated educator, Ann Marie spent her life teaching children and adults alike. She served as principal at St. Fidelis School, where her leadership, compassion, and tireless dedication shaped the lives of countless students and staff. Later in her career, she continued her impact as Director of Education at Alexian Brothers Hospital, where she helped guide professional development and lifelong learning in the health care community.

She was the cherished sister of Catherine (Frank) Wysocki and Mary (Robert) Jones. As devoted Aunt, Ann Marie will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews; Franklin Wysocki, Michael (Diane) Wysocki, Bernadette Wysocki, Julie (Greg) Hill, Robert (Michelle) Jones, Frances Jones. She was also a proud great-aunt to Alyssa, Olivia, Natalie, and Hunter. Ann Marie held a special place in the hearts of her many cousins and extended family.

Ann Marie's life was one of quiet strength, compassion and unwavering dedication to others. Her influence as an educator and mentor leaves a lasting legacy. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a Catholic Mass at 10:00 AM.

St. Hubert Catholic Church – 729 Grand Canyon St, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169

There will be no procession. A brief prayer service will be held at the cemetery chapel following the Mass.

Holy Sepulchre Cemetery – 6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803

All are welcome to join in remembering and celebrating the life of Ann Marie Lubish.
