Ann Medlin, 75, of Stanley passed away June 22, 2022 at her residence. She was born on March 27, 1947 to the late Leo Medlin and Margie Ballard Medlin. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Ward and nephew, Matthew Ward. Ann loved her family and her grandson, Mattlee. He was the absolute light and sunshine of her life. She also enjoyed taking rides through the country.
Survivors include her daughter, Angie Medlin; brother, Gene Medlin and wife Judy; grandson, MattLee; nephews, Tim Ward, Scott Medlin, and Brian Medlin; niece, Sharon Turney; great nieces, Brittany Turney and Jessica Turney; great nephews, Jordan Medlin and Austin Medlin.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services with Pastor Bobby Hildebrand officiation. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Graveside service will immediatly follow at Stanley Cemetery, Stanley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Free Will Baptist Church, 402 Hovis Rd., Stanley, NC 28164.
