Ann Messer

Funeral service for Ann Messer, age 93 of Como, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Dr Dean Dickens officiating. Rev. John Crist and Billy Bob Messer will assist him. Interment will follow at Black Oak Cemetery with Paul Pritchett, Ty Murray, Ethan Kerss, Joseph Crist, Jacob Crist, John Collins, Colton Collins and Kelvin Harris serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Messer passed away on December 9, 2024. 

Ann was born on January 30, 1931 in Tarkio, Missouri to Leland C and Eursie (Mutchler) Graham. She married Robert Ray “Bob” Messer in Dallas, Texas on May 1, 1954. Ann retired from the medical field where she was an x-ray technician. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her son, Robert Messer, his wife, Mary; grandchildren, Anne Thompson, Billy Bob Messer, and wife, Amanda, John Crist, Joseph Crist and wife, Jennifer; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Josephine Primrose, Alice Otero and husband, Raul, Janice Gatlin and Charlotte Sweet; and close friends, Whitney Tate and husband, Robert, Vicki Nelson and husband, Mike. 

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Janice Crist; sister, Mary Cole, and brother, Paul Graham.
