Tracy Michelle Potter was born on July 19, 1971, in Garland, TX to Michael Ray Mays and Elizabeth Anne (Denney) Crow. She married Daniel Shon Potter at Lake Cypress Springs on February 9, 2006. Tracy worked in law enforcement as a detention officer. She also cared for children and worked in health care as a CNA. Tracy had a very bright, bubbly, and caring personality. She was a natural caregiver and absolutely loved taking care of others. She was of the Baptist faith.

Tracy is survived by her husband of 20 years, Daniel Shon Potter; her son, Wesley Miller, and wife Montanna; and her three grandchildren, Henley Miller, Daxton Miller, and Brailee Miller. Being “Granny” was by far her greatest accomplishment and favorite title. There was nothing she would not do for them, and she loved them with only the love a Granny could know. She is also survived by her sister, Shelia Jenkins; nephews Andrew Albritton and wife Sarah, Thomas Albritton, and wife Aspen; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews; a special cousin, Sue Gravette; and her 5 Australian Shepherds and one Red Heeler.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her oldest son, William Ryan Miller.
