Ann Elise Metcalf, 61, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family at 5:01 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2025 at home in La Porte.
She was born on September 13, 1964 in Valparaiso to Aloysius and Laurie (Finerty) Koselke.
On October 2, 1982, in Wanatah she married Bernard Metcalf who preceded her in death March 21, 2021.Ann earned her bachelor's degree in Business from Purdue University North Central. She was an Accountant with Angelos & Rardin, CPA's for almost 30 years. Ann enjoyed volunteering and was on the Board of Directors for a few years at The Social & Learning Institute in Michigan City. She enjoyed traveling and hiking with her husband. Ann loved photography and took many small trips with her sister to photograph nature, animals, landmarks, and sometimes people.
She is survived by her mother, two sons, Erik (Reina) Metcalf and Scott (Amy) Metcalf; daughter, Kristian (Anthony) Neumann; sister, Heidi Koselke; brother, Nicholas Scott Koselke; six grandsons, Tim, Oliver (Alyssa), Adrian, Walker, Charlie, and Kristopher; four granddaughters, Kassandra (Michael), Brooke, Olive, and Sarai.
Ann was also preceded in death by her father, husband, and son Terence Metcalf.
A Rosary service will be at 5:00 p.m. followed by visitation and viewing to be held from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m, Wednesday, October 22, 2025 and from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m on Thursday at Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, (219) 362-3333. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday October 23, 2025 at Patton Cemetery in La Porte followed by the burial ceremony.
