Dick and family,
Our sincere sympathy at Ann's passing. Having lost touch after leaving AK, I happened upon the news articles noting the struggle with Alzheimer's. It was likely we were within miles of one another given Junction was a stopping spot for some years. I fondly recall partnering with her in orienteering, mountain biking at Kincaid and other local spots, her cheerful teasing and easy laughter. With a glint in the eye and I could always be sure a bit of teasing was in store. New Year's moonlight sledding and her perfect 10 and Oakly romping along. Whatever the adventure, there surely would be a good workout and great fun. May you each find peace and comfort in your memories of her. Rest easy friend.

Together with you, I'm mourning the loss of a wonderful person and friend who had a huge impact on my life. I'm posting a photo from many years ago when she gave me a hand made quilt for our first child. We've treasured the quilt and now it's ready for the next generation. Much love and sympathy to everyone who is mourning the passing of Ann.

To her family: I´m sorry for your loss.Ann was an inspiration to me as she was my 8th grade PE teacher, my coach in running a cross country skiing and her endeavors as a competitive cross country skier. I was happy that we were able to keep throughout our lives.
