ORMSBY: A Celebration of Life Service for Ann M. Nibbe, 71, of
Ormsby, Minnesota will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church, (1418 2nd Avenue) in Mountain Lake, Minnesota with burial in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in rural Petersburg, Minnesota.
Ann was called to her eternal rest on Wednesday morning, January 28, 2026 at Valley Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mountain Lake, Minnesota and one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.
The Kramer Family Funeral Home of Sherburn, Trimont and Welcome, Minnesota is in charge of Ann's arrangements.

Ann Marie Bargfrede was born on October 23, 1954 to Harry and Maxine (Koenecke) Bargfrede in
Estherville, Iowa. She moved with family to the Jackson, Minnesota area. She attended school in Jackson and later was a 1972 graduate of Jackson High School. Ann attended Jackson Vocational School for Accounting and was employed as a waitress for a café in Jackson. On August 18, 1972 she was united in marriage to Paul Nibbe at Salem Lutheran Church in Jackson, Minnesota. After their marriage they moved to Texas while Paul was in the Air Force. They later moved back to Minnesota and made their home in rural Ormsby. Ann and Paul moved into Ormsby and raised their family. Ann was employed at Carstensen Store and the 3-Generations Store both in St. James. Ann was employed as a bank teller at Pioneer Bank in St. James for many years. Most recently she was employed for Watonwan Enterprises in Mountain Lake. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Mountain Lake. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, crocheting and traveling.
Ann is survived by her husband, Paul Nibbe of
Ormsby, Minnesota; her children, Chris (Kelli) Nibbe of Rochester, Minnesota, Kerry (Jared) Miest of Courtland, Minnesota, Jonathan Nibbe of St. James, Minnesota and Jessica Nibbe and Pat of Rochester, Minnesota; 7-grandchildren, Addison, Izaac, Noah, Colter (Haily), Dylan, Mason and Evelyn; sister-in-law, Pam Deutsch of Rochester, Minnesota; brother-in-law, Tom Planting of Minneapolis, Minnesota; brothers and sisters-in-law on the Nibbe side, Pam (Larry) Michelson of Windom, Minnesota, Doug (LeeAnn) Nibbe of rural St. James, Minnesota, Sara (Curtis) Schultze and Amy Chleborad both of
Ormsby, Minnesota; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Maxine Bargfrede; brothers, Darrell and Stan Bargfrede; sister, Marlene Planting; mother and father-in-law, Charles and Marian Nibbe; and other relatives.
