Ann L. Nigro

Ann L. (Mikach) Nigro, 98, of Trafford, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in her home. Ann was born on Aug. 10, 1927, in Patton Township, the daughter of the late Joseph F. Sr. and Helen Catherine (Vukson) Mikach. Ann was a graduate of Trafford High School, Class of 1945. She was a member of the St. Regis Catholic Church in Trafford. As a young wife and mother Ann kept the business records for Nigro's Cleaners, which was owned by her and her late husband Lou. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Louis B. Nigro; and her siblings, Charles R. "Doug," Wayne R., Joseph Frank, Steve Victor, and John Ivan Mikach. Ann is survived by her children, Elaine A. (Nigro) Cooper (David), Ronald L. Nigro (Deborah), and Nicholas J. Nigro (Judy); her grandchildren, Ryan L. Nigro (Julie) and Daniel A. Nigro; and two great-granddaughters, Scarlett Ann and Lucille Elizabeth Nigro. Family and friends were received from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2026, at JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 702 Seventh St. (State Route 130) Trafford, 412-372-3111. Prayers of transfer will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in the St. Regis Church, Trafford. Entombment will follow in the New St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
