Ann Robinson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by James F. Ferguson Funeral Home and Monument Company on Jan. 27, 2026.
Ann Carol Robinson (Stadtmiller), 85, of Indiana, PA, passed away peacefully Monday, January 26, 2026 in Indiana, PA. She was the daughter of Ralph B. and Mabel Fitzhonts Stadtmiller of Home, PA, where she was born March 8, 1940. Anna lived a full life marked by creativity, strength, and quiet grace, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of truly knowing her. Ann graduated from IUP's Teacher's College and received an award for academic excellence. Later, she found her true passion in crafting and spending time with her sisters and her granddaughter, Alaina. She held a special place in the heart of her granddaughter, who affectionately gave her the cherished name "Maw," a name that reflected the warmth, love, and closeness they shared. Anna lived many years in Blairsville, PA with her beloved husband, Bob, and operated a bed and breakfast that she decorated with crafts she created or antiques she purchased while on road trips. For many years the bed and breakfast hosted the annual Stadtmiller family Christmas party. Anna enjoyed painting, shopping, and spending time with her beloved dogs, Whiskey, and Tucker.
She is survived by her children: Paula Kay Griffith and Carol Ann Griffith; her grandchildren: Alaina Dettore of Pittsburgh, PA; Kyle Yenchik of Kentucky; and Hallie Yenchik of Kentucky. Additionally, she is survived by her sisters Ruth McGinnis of Springville, NY and Shelley (Mark) Anderson of Home, PA; and brothers Richard (Franny) Stadtmiller of Marion Center, PA and Robert (Doris) Stadtmiller of Home, PA. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Diane Yenchik; her husband Robert (Bob) Robinson; her brother Bernard Stadtmiller; and her sisters Elsie Jean Jewart, Janet Lewis and Agnes Altemus.
In accordance with Ann's wishes, no public services will be held. Ann's legacy will continue to live on through those who knew her and loved her.
