Ann Drake Rokosny

Ann Drake Rokosny, of Brick, NJ, passed away on November19, 2025 at the age of 97. Born on May 16, 1928 in Elizabeth, NJ, to Henry J. Drake and Ellen McLoughlin Drake, Ann graduated from St. Mary's High School and Douglass College. She married Charles W. Rokosny and the couple moved to Westfield, NJ, where they had a successful real estate business and raised their six children; Catherine Tomani, Mariellen Sandford, Charles Rokosny Jr, James Rokosny, Thomas Rokosny, and John Rokosny. Upon the death of her husband in 1980, Ann retired to the Jersey Shore. Her interests included travel, with many trips to Europe and the British Isles, bird watching and nature, tending to her many thriving plants, all facets of the arts, and her nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, courage, committment to family, and love.
The visitation will take place on Friday, November 28th from 9am to 1045am at Dooley Colonial Home, 556 Westfield Ave. Westfield NJ 07090. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11am at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, on the corner of first street and Westfield Ave. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.Following the burial the repass will take place at Ferraro's. 14 Elm Street, Westfield. Please note parking is across North Avenue in the train station.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ann's name to Meals on Wheels.
