Ann 'Kiddo' Rynes, 57, of Ithaca, died Thursday, September 14, 2023. She was born on September 20, 1966, in Dodgeville, the daughter of Jerry and Mary (Gunckel) Williams. Ann was raised in Barneveld where she graduated and furthered her education at Madison Business College. She moved to Richland County in 1990. Ann was united in marriage to Ken Rynes Jr., on August 10, 2002. Ann was the bookkeeper at Rynes Plumbing, where she enjoyed the years she spent next to her husband in their business. She loved her life with her love, on their property in Little Willow and faithfully supporting her best friend in every endeavor they encountered over the years, 'Service not Self' to her beloved American Legion Family, where she proudly served for over 46 years, service to her Town of Willow Family, and traveling with her love all over the world and Sister Days.
Ann is survived by her husband Ken;
Son: Cole (Juanna) Miller of Ithaca;
Ken's children: Brittany (Adam) Niemeyer of Reedsburg, Celia (Zach) Zeman of Reedsburg, Dalton (Lindsay) Spencer of Dodgeville;
9 grandchildren;
6 siblings, Don (Dee) Williams, Rockford IL, Bob (Gloria) Williams, Shoreview, MN, Betty "Bet" Zimpel, Mt. Horeb, Peggy "Peg" Zwiefel, Oro Valley AZ. Jeff Williams, Sulphur Springs, TX, Ginny 'Gin' (Rollie) Peterson, Mt. Horeb;
Very Special porch time friends: Cheryl McNurlin and Sheila Melby;
Many other relatives and friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents Jerry and Mary Williams, infant brother Gary, sister-in-law Pam, brothers-in-law Don Zimpel and Ron Zweifel paternal and maternal grandparents; Ken's father Ken Sr, Ken's mother Barb and former husband Tom Miller.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 12:00 PM at the Ithaca School Gym, 24615 State Highway 58, Richland Center, WI 53581, with burial to follow in the Willow Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Ithaca School Gym from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM. The family requests memorials in Ann's name be directed to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 13, 900 Flag Park Dr, Richland Center, WI 53581 or Camp American Legion, 8529 County D, Lake Tomahawk, WI 54539. Ann requested people wear their service uniforms: EMS, Fire, Police, and Military, to her funeral service. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
