Beverly Ann Krans

Beverly Ann Krans, 84, of Richland Center died Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Schmitt Woodland Hills. She was born on June 3, 1941, in Glidden the daughter of Milton Renaldo and Lucille Mertie (Gillingham) Krans. Beverly graduated from Richland Center High School in 1959 and earned her Bachelor's Degree from MacPhail School of Music in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was a member of the US Army from 1967-1973 serving as an Administration Officer and Recruiter. After Beverly's honorable discharge she taught music at the Weston Grade and High Schools. She enjoyed giving piano and voice lessons, making rugs, beading, jewelry making and gardening.

Beverly is survived by her brother, Milton J. (Beverly Ann) Krans, Jr. of Missouri; step-sister, Dena (Russell) Shaw of Richland Center; many other relatives and friends.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Milton and Lucille, step-father Virgil Parr, sister Marilyn Rae (Kenneth) Ross, brother Byron Lynn Krans, sister-in-law Marlys Ewers, stepbrothers Leroy and Carey Parr.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Pratt Memorial Chapel at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Richland Center Cemetery, with military graveside rites to be provided by the Local Military Memorial Honors Unit. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
