MARQUETTE MI - Ann Marie Sadler, age 92, of Marquette, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025, in the loving care of her family.
Ann was born on June 18, 1933, in Rudyard, Michigan, a daughter of Joseph and Mary (Knauf) Tremblay. She was raised in Rudyard and graduated from Rudyard High School with the Class of 1951. Following graduation, she married Patrick Sadler on June 9, 1955.
Ann and Patrick began their family while Patrick served in the United States Air Force. His military career led them to live in many places throughout the United States and internationally while raising their six children. Ann devoted her life to being a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker, creating a warm and supportive home wherever they lived.
After Patrick's retirement, the couple settled in Marquette, where they have made their home ever since. Ann was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and was deeply devoted to her faith and family.
She is survived by her six children, Richard (Bonnie) Sadler, Michael Sadler, Debra (Doug) Liberty, Lorrie (Greg) McAuliffe, Cathy (Dave) DeRocher, and Sherry (David) Dodendorf; thirteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Patrick Sadler, Sr.; her infant son, Patrick Sadler Jr.; granddaughter, Candance Sadler; two sisters, Dorothy Smith and Bertha Williams; and her brother, Louis Tremblay.
Honoring the family's wishes, private family graveside services will be held.
