Ann Schock Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Serenity Meadows Memorial Park Funeral Home & Crematory - Riverview on May 13, 2025.
Ann E. Schock, aged 87, of Tampa, FL, passed away peacefully on May 4th, surrounded by friends and family. Born on July 31st, 1937, in Loudoun, West Virginia, Ann was a loving wife, daughter, and sister. A dedicated Christian, Ann found solace in her faith.
Ann whole-heartedly loved and was loved by so many. Throughout her life, Ann cherished the time spent with friends and family. She requested a special mention of her best friend, Mary L. Griffin, in gratitude for all the laughter and special times they shared over the last 39 years. Also, Ann was deeply grateful to Darlene for the fun trips down memory lane and for all the heartwarming home cooked favorites, delivered with love.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Don Schock, her sister, Ruby Cubbage, and her brothers, Robert Cubbage, Franklin Cubbage and Dennis Cubbage.
A celebration of Ann's life will be held on May 24th, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Buchanan Baptist Church, located at 808 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33613.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to local animal shelters, honoring Ann's love for her own pet companion, Cha-Cha and her caring spirit.
Ann's legacy is one of genuine love and devotion, and she will be dearly missed by all who were blessed enough to know her.

Our beautiful Annie was a gorgeous soul. She loved her family fierce. We loved her so much in return. We will cherish all the blessed times we spent together. To the Pennsylvania mountain town, West Virginia, Philadelphia and of course down to Florida.
Aunt Ann was a constant light in our lives. From being the best sister to her brothers William, Franklin, and Dennis Cubbage. She was the best friend and sister to Franklin's wife, Carole and Susan Cubbage, wife of Dennis. Aunt Ann was also a phenomenal Aunt and Great Aunt to her Nieces and Nephews. Especially to myself and siblings.
Michelle Ann Cubbage-Serrano wife of Alex Serrano. Great Nephews, Bronx Charles James, Hudson Monroe Alexander.
Jennifer Ann Cubbage-Jansen Great Nieces, Imagine Marie and Charlie Elizabeth.
Dennis Charles Jr Cubbage, Great Nieces, Lauren Renee and Ella Grace. We are blessed to call her ours.
The wealth of fierce dedication to family and unconditional love we received from her will always be priceless. We will carry her love with us every day. Handing her teachings of kindness, love, family down to generations to come. Our Aunt Ann maybe gone, but she will never be forgotten. She was a true beauty. We will miss her dearly.
