Ann Stantus

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ann Louise Stantus, beloved wife, mother, and dedicated educator, who left us on November 18th, 2024. Ann was born on December 20, 1976, in Scottsdale, Arizona, and her unwavering kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
A proud graduate of the University of Utah, Ann spent her career teaching special education in the Anchorage and Davis County Utah school districts. Her passion for education and her belief in the potential of every child made a lasting impact on her students.
Ann was married to her loving husband, Rob Stantus, for 23 wonderful years. Together, they created a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and adventures that created so many cherished memories. Ann was a devoted mother to her three daughters, Riley (21), Sarah (18), and Morgan (15). She took immense pride in their academic and athletic accomplishments and was their biggest supporter, always encouraging them to pursue their dreams.
Ann was known for her warm heart and generous spirit. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and included, whether through her thoughtful gestures, big smile or her infectious laughter.
Ann's legacy will live on through her daughters, who embody her strength and kindness. She is also survived by her husband Rob, and her extended family, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.
A memorial service to celebrate Ann's life will be held on December 7th from 1 to 3 pm at the Hope Auditorium on the Alaska Regional Hospital campus. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring her legacy and sharing cherished memories. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in support of Brain Cancer research in her honor.
Ann Louise Stantus will be deeply missed but will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.
