Ann Warnick Steimel passed away on September 7, 2025 in Waxhaw, North Carolina.
Ann was born in New York City on September 9, 1936 to parents Daniel and Mary Warnick. She was married for 59 years to Robert Steimel until his passing in 2016. They were proud parents to four sons and sadly preceded in death by their son Gregory. Ann and Robert lived in New York, Chicago, and New Jersey while raising their family. They moved to North Carolina in the late 1970's where they lived for 35 years, prior to retiring in Florida and Ann's return to North Carolina in 2020.
Ann was a retired jewelry buyer who enjoyed shopping, playing Mahjong, watching her grandchildren play sports, traveling, watching television, a glass of wine, and spending time with family.
Ann was preceded in death by her grandson Patrick, and sisters Dorothy Warnick Lindquist and Mary Warnick.
Ann is survived by son Robert and wife Kathleen; son Richard and wife Lisa; son Michael and wife Mary; grandchildren Robert, Eliska, Emily, Brendan, Corey, Daniel, Annie and Sean; great-grandchildren Maeve and Desmond; sister-in-law Joann Catania; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Holland Funeral Service in Monroe, NC at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
