Ann Thorud Obituary
Ann Elizabeth Thorud (Reuder) age 66, of Bloomington, MN, died peacefully at home on June 29, 2024 from breast cancer. Preceded in death by her father Leo Reuder; brother Leo Reuder and sister Kathleen Foley. She is survived by her mother Jan Reuder; children Lauren Thorud and Dan Thorud; siblings Lisa (Tom Knier) Reuder, Tom (Connie) Reuder, Jenny (Terry) Okonek and John (Katie) Reuder; brother-in-law Bill Foley; sister-in-law Roxy Reuder; special family friends Shirley Jonas (Reynaldo Lyles) and their children; 11 nieces and nephews, 10 great nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and long-time friends. Ann was born in Minneapolis, graduated from Kennedy High School in 1976 and attended Normandale Community College and St. Cloud State University. She married and raised her two children in Bloomington and worked as a paraprofessional in the Bloomington schools. Ann loved all children, and Lauren and Dan were the loves of her life. She was a dear friend and will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts preferred to Como Friends, 1225 Estabrook Drive, St. Paul MN 55103. A Celebration of Ann's Life will be held on Monday, August 12th from 3:30pm-7pm at the Minnesota Valley Country Club in Bloomington. Private inurnment.
