Ann Tichenor Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home - Chatham on Oct. 16, 2025.
Ann Frizzell Tichenor, 75, of Randolph, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, surrounded by love.
Family and friends are invited to gather in her memory during visiting hours at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. in Chatham, on Friday, October 17th, from 5 to 7 p.m. A prayer service will follow at 7 p.m.
Ann was born in Motherwell, Scotland, the beloved daughter of John and Catherine (Dobbie) Cameron. In 1957, she and her family immigrated to the United States, settling in Bloomfield, NJ. After a brief return to Scotland-a place that always held a piece of her heart-Ann eventually made her home in Clifton, Glen Ridge, and Bloomfield again before settling in Randolph nine years ago.
For 30 years, Ann worked as a secretary with UNICO National in Bloomfield, where her warmth, dedication, and wit left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike.
Ann lived her life with a vibrant spirit and a deep love for the things that brought her joy-dancing (especially to "The Twist"), The Sopranos, trips to Long Beach Island and Atlantic City, cheering for the NJ Devils, and anything that celebrated her proud Scottish heritage. She was someone who loved deeply and laughed easily, with a sharp sense of humor and a generous heart.
Above all, Ann was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Catherine Tichenor, and Catherine's significant other, Michael Bickoff. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Nicholas Tichenor, and shared a close bond with her special niece, Heather Alvarez, her husband Vincent, and their children Leah, Nate, and Alanis. Ann is also survived by her dear siblings: Linda Zygmunt and her husband Walter, Kenneth Cameron and his wife Kelly, and Carolyn Koelble and her husband John. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and her extended family and friends-each of whom held a special place in her heart.
In honor of Ann's memory and the care she received, donations may be made to Atlantic Hospice, 465 South St., Suite 100B, Morristown, NJ 07960.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
