Ann Wieskamp, 83, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Addington Place of Muscatine.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Church of St. Mary in Nichols. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Nichols. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Croix Hospice or the Church of St. Mary, Nichols.
Ann was born May 7, 1942, in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Genevieve (O'Brien) State. She was a graduate of Hayes Catholic High School in Muscatine and later attended Muscatine Community College. On July 17, 1965 she was united in marriage to Ronald Wieskamp at St. Mathias Catholic Church in Muscatine.
In her early years, Ann was employed with Case, helped drive tractors and take care of livestock until her children were grown, then worked at, and retired from Farmers and Merchants Bank in Nichols.
She was a member of the Church of St. Mary and enjoyed fishing in Texas with Ron. Ann loved attending and supporting everything her grandchildren were involved in. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels, was a member of the Red Hats, a master gardener, and enjoyed playing poker with friends.
Survivors include two sons: Kevin (Jennifer) Wieskamp of Muscatine and Scott (Shelly) Wieskamp of Taylor Ridge, Illinois; six grandchildren: John, Hannah, and Claire Wieskamp, Derek (Elizabeth) Carter, Rex Carter, and Shae (Clay) Martin; and two great-grandchildren: Hamish and Brigette. She is also survived by two brothers: Tom (Kathy) State of Gresham, Oregon, and Marty (LuAnn) State of Senoia, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ron, and her sister Colleen Augustine.
