Anna (Ann Duplessis) Beauregard, 78 of Manchester left with our Lord on Monday March 5th following complications suffered from a fall this past December. Born in Chicago Illinois on September 20th, 1939 she was the daughter of Raymond Beauregard and Anna (Krol) Beauregard and grew up in Phoenix, AZ graduating from St Mary's High School in 1957. She moved to Manchester in 1958 and was a book keeper and homemaker, settling on the west side. Anna was a parishioner of St Raphael's Church, was instrumental in the founding of the parish food pantry and volunteered in the effort for many years. In her later years, Ann passionately volunteered as a senior companion for 15 years, developing wonderful relationships that she cherished greatly till the very end. In 2014 she was presented by Governor Hassan with the "Spirit Award" by Volunteer NH in recognition for her many years of involvement. Anna was first and foremost a Mother to her children and a loving Matriarch to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an unwavering Roman Catholic and a devout follower of Jesus Christ every moment of her life. She was a great friend to many and she will be dearly remembered and missed. Besides her parents, Anna was predeceased by her Sisters Mary McCarty, Lucille Bollard and Delores Kimball, all of Arizona. Anna was also predeceased by her daughter Michelle. Anna is survived by her daughter Joanne Palys and her husband Gary of Manchester, a daughter Lisa Whitehead also from Manchester, a son Brian Duplessis and his wife Leslie of Hooksett. Grandchildren include Jocelyn and (Rob) Deoleo of Weare, Rob Whitehead, James and (Michelle) Guild, Joe and (Ashley) Whitehead all of Manchester and Noah and Nathan Duplessis of Hooksett. Anna is also blessed with 8 great grandchildren, Anthony, Viviana and Eva Deoleo of Weare, Aubrey, Annabel, Brie Whitehead of Manchester and Maci and James Guild of Manchester. Funeral arrangements are being performed by Durning, Bykowski & Young, 285 Manchester St, Manchester, NH. There will not be calling hours. A mass of celebration will be 10:00 am on Monday March 12th at St Raphael's Church 103 Walker St in Manchester. The family would like to thank both Catholic Medical Center and the Ridgewood Center for the exceptional compassion and care she received. In lieu of flowers, consider a contribution to the St Raphael's food pantry or Volunteer NH. Go to www.durningbykowskiandyoung.com for on-line condolences.

Ann, I miss the times we use to talk on the phone. Especially, not having the opportunity for many years. You warmed my heart when we first talked, You expressing the warmness of Your heart that You were so happy that we finally connected after such a long time and You would say "I love You, Johnny", so many times to me, and I You. I remember the time in 1962 You called me in S.F. and You were at the Airport coming from Alaska with Your first born, Joanie. We, my Wife, Joan, and I went and met You for a short time there. After that, we lost communications for a long time. I look at these pictures of You and think of the times in Chicago, You riding on the back of my Tricycle and playing together at Grandma's house. I have thought of You so very often this last year and my heart aches for Your not being hear. I am so very glad You found what You were supposed to do in Your life and will continue it on with God.

I Love you !

Heaven has a bright star! I'm going to tell my mother she always said if something went wrong and it brought chuckles. She was so funny that way. When I was a teen and having issues she said, "You make your own happiness and this I never forgot. The one thing that stands out in this incredible woman was her courage but most of all her LOVE. I am honored to have been a part of your life.
