Anna S. (Scalia) Bottaro, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the age of 89, with loved ones at her side. She was the beloved wife of 46 years to the late Joseph A. Bottaro (Aug. 2005). Anna was born on May 23, 1936, in Hartford, CT, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (2026) Scalia. She was a resident of Enfield for the past 64 years. Anna was a devoted and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, who loved her family dearly and spending time with them on special occasions and the holidays.
Anna is survived by her two loving children Fran Meyer and husband Doug of Somers, and Frank Bottaro of New York, NY, her beloved granddaughter Kimberly Meyer, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was known as Gigi by her fur great grandbabies, Vega, Benjamin, and Penny that held a special place in her heart.
A service with burial in the Thompsonville Cemetery will be private at the convenience of family in the spring.
