Anna Elizabeth Capet

Anna Elizabeth Capet, age 95 of Yorkville, IL, passed away on June 23, 2022, her late husband's birthday. She was born October 8, 1926 in Yorkville IL. During World War 2, in 1943, she married the love of her life, the late Harold Capet, and spent the next 52 years together until Harold's death in 1996.
She gave her heart to Jesus very early in life and couldn't remember ever not being a Christian.
She worked many jobs over her lifetime. Her favorite being a pattern maker at Colonial Frocks in Aurora, IL
She sewed numerous dresses and outfits for her children and loved to crochet. She made many afghans for family and friends.
Treasured mother of Susan (Patrick, deceased) O'Malley, Garry (Deborah) Capet and Mary (David) Miller. She was the daughter of the late Jessie and Robert Caswell and beloved foster daughter of the late Delores and Norman Collins.
She was the proud grandmother of Carolee "Carrie", Peggy, Gregg, Christian, Bethany, Adam, Emma, Joshua, and the late Sarah.She had 19 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her biological parents and foster parents, her husband, Harold, her granddaughter Sarah, and her niece Sherry.
A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Warehouse Church, 308 E Galena Blvd in Aurora, IL. Friends and family may visit from 3:00 PM until the hour of service on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 4:00 PM.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the family.
