Kenneth F. Basco

Dearest husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Kenneth Francis Basco, 77, peacefully passed away on February 23, 2026, in Downers Grove, Illinois. Ken was born on May 18, 1948, in Chicago and grew up in Brookfield, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Frances (Blazine). Ken is survived by his wife Kathleen (Daly) and his two sons Timothy (Laura) and Daniel, his brother Michael (Rita), and brothers-in-law, William, Frank, and Kevin (Helena).

Ken will always be remembered as a loving uncle to Matthew (Jennifer), Martha (Erik), Eamon (Kay), Nora (Stephen), Kevin (Thresia), Greg (Ana), and Terri (Devon). He adored his grandchildren Lindsay and Casey.

Ken owned KB Repair and Remodeling Company for over 20 years. He was an avid hot rod enthusiast and belonged to the Lucky Stiffs Car Club.

Services will be held at Visitation Catholic Church at 779 S. York Street in Elmhurst, Illinois, on Thursday, March 5, 2026. A visiting time with family and friends will be at the church from 9:00-10:00 followed by Mass at 10:00 A.M.
