Anna Carrigan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Peabody Funeral Home - Londonderry on Feb. 24, 2026.
Anna Rose Carrigan, (Rose Raven Rebel), was born December 4, 1986, in Concord, Massachusetts, and passed after an extended illness on February 21, 2026, in Manchester, New Hampshire.

She is survived by her parents, George and Mary (Gadbow) Carrigan; her brother Timothy (m. Brian Frye); sister Caitlin; nephew Kieran Carrigan and niece Autumn Carrigan-Frye; extended family; and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents Kenneth and Anna Gadbow and Rosa Carrigan.

Anna was a graduate of Manchester Memorial High School class of 2005 and the University of New Hampshire, where she earned several degrees, including associate, bachelor, and masters. She worked professionally as a public health educator for the state of New Hampshire supporting families of children with asthma, and later as a therapist who integrated play-based and animal modalities into her work with her clients.

She possessed a strong commitment to social justice and passion for protecting the vulnerable, including founding the New Road Project, a nonprofit advocating for the protection of children across New Hampshire, and initiating Warmth in the Millyard, an annual clothing drive for Manchester's unhoused population. She was a plaintiff in a public suit against the state of New Hampshire regarding its handling of abuse and neglect cases for children in its custody.

She loved to play the piano and was an avid animal lover with many pets throughout her life. She especially enjoyed horseback riding.

Calling hours will be held on Monday March 2, 2026 from 5 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00am in St Jude's Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH 03053.
