Anna Cendrowski

Anna Cendrowski, age 74, of Race Hill Road, Terrytown, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, February 9, 2025, after a lingering illness at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. 

Anna was born on March 8, 1950, in Maniowy, Poland, a daughter of the late John Cyrwus and Zofia Banka Cyrwus. Anna came to the United States when she was 16, and later become a US citizen.  

She married Ryszard Cendrowski in December of 1990. They lived in Passaic, New Jersey, until 1995 when they made their home on Race Hill Road in Terry Township to raise their two daughters. Ryszard predeceased her on January 8, 2022.  

Anna was a homemaker and housewife all of her life. She enjoyed gardening.

Granddaughter:

Gyda Elizabeth Ekenstierna, Laceyville, PA  

She is also survived by her siblings: Stanley and wife Sofia Jakowicz of NJ, Lucy and her husband the late Henry Tupaj of NH, Angela and her husband John Iwanowski of PA, Frank and his wife Bozena Cyrwus of NJ, and Helen Stern of OK.  

Anna is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Besides her parents, and husband she was predeceased by her brother Andrew Cyrwus, and her sisters: Veronica Cyrwus, and Sophia Cyrwus.  

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Homer Funeral Home, 83 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA 18853 and will be held at the convenience of the family.
