Anna Conover Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jackson Funeral Home and Cremation on Sep. 24, 2024.
Anna Lisa Conover, age 58, of Knoxville passed quietly on Tuesday September 24, 2024, at home after a brief illness. Anna Lisa was born April 12, 1966, in Harriman, Tennessee. She was a lifetime member of the United Church, Chapel-on-the-Hill. She had a long and loving life with many interests that included spending time with her family and friends, volunteering her time, and spoiling her beloved pets. She was blessed with a wonderful childhood that afforded her to engage in dance classes and world travel. Anna Lisa graduated from Clinton Senior High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. While at UTC, Anna Lisa was a member of Pi Beta Phi women's sorority. During her working career she was employed at SAIC and the Y-12 Nuclear Security Complex as a business analyst.
She was a loving daughter and sister to her family. She is preceded in death by parents, William Reid Conover and Anna Katherine (Queener) Conover; grandparents Auwin Ree Queener and Georgia (Slusher) Queener and William R. Conover II; and, Lillian Conover. Survivors include her brother, Douglas Reid Conover and several local and distant relatives.
She was delighted to recently connect with her natural sister, Joyce (Pridgen) Goodman, her niece, Paige (Goodman) Proffitt, and her nephew, William Seth Goodman. They enriched her life in the short time they had together.
She will be sorely missed by her family and many close friends. Sincere thanks and deepest gratitude to a number of close friends (she called her angels) for loving support during her time of need: Lisa Harris, Alice Brandon, Amy Alley, Donna Fontenot, Mary Murray, Pat Kaman, and Ryn Etter. Thanks also to Caris Hospice and the caregivers from Cornerstone who helped provide care. The girls became part of the family during their time of service to Anna Lisa.
Anna Lisa requested no services to be held.
