Chad Collins Obituary
Mr. Collins was born July 18, 1972, in Central Ohio. He spent much of his early life in West Virginia then settling in Tennessee. Growing up he was well liked and charismatic. In high school, Chad excelled in academics and basketball. After high school, he then joined the United States Navy Intelligence.
During his service with the United States Navy, he became a semi-professional basketball player for the Reebok Enforcers while in Scotland.
Following his time with the Navy he furthered his education in journalism and history at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Chad created a successful payment processing company that made it possible to travel the United States touching and charming many with his talented sales abilities.
Chad is preceded in death by his Mother Karen Collins, Grandparents Rollie and Ruth Green, Brother Jason Collins and Uncle Edward Green.
Chad is survived by his brother Lukus Collins, Aunts Phyllis Green and Joyce Jones. He is also survived by cousins Scot Green, Matthew Green and Jonathan Green along with many friends that adored him with memories that will last forever.
A graveside service will be held at the East Tennessee State Veteran Cemetery located at 2200 East Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville Tennessee 37920. Time and date will be given when available.
