Anna Mae Deckert

Anna Mae Deckert, 88, of Lebanon, PA passed away on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025, at Lebanon Skilled Nursing and Rehab. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Leroy S. Deckert. Born in Lebanon, PA on May 8th, 1937, she was the daughter of the late William and Mabel (Rank) Heisey. Anna Mae was a member of South Lebanon Community Church where she was involved with Women's Fellowship, played piano, and sang in the choir. She was a Meals on Wheels volunteer and helped to cook for Habitat for Humanity. Anna Mae sang for various groups for many years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and reading. Anna Mae is survived by her two children, Sharon L. Zimmerman, wife of Warren of Lebanon, Michael S. Deckert of Lebanon, a brother, Dr. George W. Heisey of Cornwall, and four grandchildren, Jason Zimmerman, Tara Zimmerman, Aaron Deckert, and Shannon Deckert. In addition to her husband, Anna Mae was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. William G. Heisey. A public viewing will be held from 10:00AM-11:00AM on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, at South Lebanon Community Church, 13 Evergreen Road Lebanon, PA 17042. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00AM on Tuesday at the Church. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Iona. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church. Kreamer Funeral Home, Annville are overseeing arrangements.
