Anna Theresa DeMarr, age 69, of the Blueberry Community, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024.
Anna was born December 7, 1954, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of William and Dorothea (Azure) Quaderer. She was united in marriage to Patrick DeMarr on May 24, 1997, in Clinton, IA. Anna and Pat were married for 27 years but were together for 32 years. She treasured her time with her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anna spent 23 years cooking for the crews of the LCO Cranberry Marsh and dedicated 11 years of her life to the LCO Casino, working in the vault, until retiring early for medical reasons. She was big hearted, loving and kind to many dogs over the years and spent many years raising chickens for eggs. Anna had many hobbies, was an excellent cook and her frybread warmed over the heart of anyone who ate it. She enjoyed frequenting garage and estate sales and was an avid outdoors woman. Anna enjoyed hunting and fishing area woods and lakes with her husband and grandchildren. Most special to Anna were her cars and the MANY car shows she and her husband attended.
She is survived by her husband Patrick; daughter Theresa; grandchildren Joseph, Jacob & Tristan; great grandchildren Lanina, Theo, Rylan, Malakhi & Amadaus; brothers Steve Quaderer, Ronald Majewski & Robert Majewski; sister Dana Quaderer; many nephews & nieces.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; infant son Michael "William" Moore; brothers William Quaderer & Charles Majewski.
Mass of Chrisitan Burial was held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in New Post. Father Karunakar Madanu officiated with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial was in New Post Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m., Monday, November 18th at New Post Community Center.
Honorary casket bearers were Shannon Nelson & Candus Teel.
Casket Bearers were Jacob Beaulieu, Joseph Jack, Andy Quaderer, Donny Quaderer, Ronny Quaderer & Tristan Scharp.
