Anna Getz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley Funeral Home - Marlton on Jan. 23, 2025.
Anna May Getz, 92, of Southampton, New Jersey, formerly of Medford, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025, at Samaritan Hospice in Voorhees, New Jersey.
Anna was born on March 29, 1932, to the late William and Ruth Getz in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she spent her early years. Her childhood laid the foundation for a life filled with warmth and kindness, traits that would become her hallmark.
Throughout her life, Anna's hands were rarely still, as she poured her heart into the hobbies she cherished. Sewing was more than a pastime; it was a way for her to share her creativity and care with those she loved. Her garden was a testament to her patience and connection to nature, blooming with vibrancy and color that mirrored her own zest for life. Anna's love for animals, especially her cats, was profound, and her kindness touched the lives of many four-legged friends throughout her lifetime. The thrill of deep-sea fishing as well as riding quads captured Anna's adventurous spirit. She was always working on puzzles and other crafts, many of which became treasured keepsakes for those around her.
Anna worked at Virtua Early Intervention for many years. In her retirement, she found joy in many communities among friends and neighbors. She had a deep love of her faith and actively participated in Bible Study groups.
Anna's greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her loving children, Linda Davis (Robert), Patricia DeMarco (Gary), William DeMarco (Cheryl), and Jo-Anne Falese (Robert). Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, who affectionately referred to her as "Mom Mom," Tricia, Chrissy, Michael, Carrie, Alicia, Christopher, Robbie, Meghan, Marissa, Daniel, Leanna, Breanne, Bobby, and Brigid, and her ten great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the memories and lessons she imparted.
Described as loving by all who knew her, Anna's presence was a source of comfort and happiness. Her ability to listen, her willingness to help, and her unwavering support were the cornerstones of the beautiful life she built and shared with others.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Bradley Funeral Home, 601 Rt 73 South and Evesham Rd, Marlton, NJ 08053. The funeral service will begin at 8:00 pm, at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020.
