Anna Gresh Obituary

Anna Grace Gresh, 91, of Greensboro, passed away peacefully, in her home, Thursday, September 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, after a battle with cancer. She was born April 9, 1934, in Gates, a daughter of the late John and Anna Klarik Korintus. Anna moved to Masontown, where she attended Masontown High School, and worked at the Masontown Shirt Factory. On February 22, 1954, she married Andrew J. Gresh and together they built their life in Greensboro until his passing December 2, 2008. Anna attended the former Holy Family Catholic Church of the St. Matthias Parish of Bobtown. Anna was a homemaker, and loved cooking and baking. She enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She is survived by her two sons, Mike Gresh (Debbie) and John Gresh, of Greensboro; seven grandchildren, Adam Gresh, Nicholas Gresh, Maria Gresh, Melissa Han, Michelle Ventura, Brad Zoldak (fiancee Stephanie) and Alan Zoldak (Whitney); along with five great- grandchildren, Kaden Ventura, Mylee Ventura, Leah Han, Sebastian Zoldak, and Julianna Zoldak; her brother, Tim Korintus of Point Marion; and sister, Frances Griffin of Martinsburg, W.Va. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, John Korintus and Paul Korintus; and sister, Helen Korintus. The family would like to extend its deep appreciation of thanks to all who provided love and support. Most importantly, they would like to thank the Amedisys Hospice Masontown team and their nurse angel, Jackie, for the exceptional care provided. Family and friends are welcome from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 29, in Yoskovich Funeral Home, Inc., Carmichaels, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, with the Rev. J. Francis Frazer as celebrant. Interment will follow at Monongahela Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made, in Anna's memory, to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
