Mrs. Anna Laura (St. Onge) (Usher) Harding, age 77, passed after a long illness at Sunny Acres Nursing and Memory Care Facility in Chelmsford on Monday, October 20, 2025. Anna is predeceased by her beloved husband, Francis Gregory Harding. They were married in 2006 and spent 6 years together as husband and wife.
Born in Lowell, MA on April 28, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Arthur M. St. Onge and Alice M. (Millette) St. Onge. Anna went to Lowell Schools and for 11 years she was the front counter person at Lefty’s Restaurant in Lowell, followed by employment in the technology field. In previous years she was employed at Macom and Raytheon, in Woburn.
Anna loved to laugh and have fun. Her favorite activity was going out for dinner and dancing with her late husband Francis.
Anna was predeceased by her first husband, Charles “Charlie” Usher in 1988. Prior to his death he was employed as a cook at Tewksbury State hospital. Together they shared two daughters, Ms. Bonnie Usher and her wife, Wendy Dickey of Derry, NH and Mrs. Charleen (Usher) Emond and her husband, Brian of Goffstown, NH. Anna had one grandchild, Adam Usher, who passed away from ALM Leukemia on April 3, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital.
Anna is survived by her sister, Helen St. Onge of Hudson, NH; her brother, Leo St. Onge and his wife, Carmen of Pelham, NH and her sister-in-law and long-time friend, Diane St. Onge of Pelham, NH; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Anna is predeceased by her two brothers, Francis St. Onge and his wife, Gabriel of Rochester, NH and her older brother, Maurice “Moe” St. Onge.
Relatives and friends are invited to Anna’s Life Celebration at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 9:45 until 10:45 AM. Her funeral service will be celebrated immediately following at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
