Sue is survived by her children, Ricky Lynn Hicks and wife Bettie of Watauga, TX, Debbie Ann McElveen and husband Dwayne of Lindale, TX, Lisa Gail Hedrick and husband Larry of Red Springs, TX, Bobby Dwayne Hicks and wife Bonnie of Hayden, AL; and sister, Barbara Mayfield of Waco, TX; twenty grandchildren; forty-two great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren with two on the way. She loved being around her family.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Noel Hicks; and parents, Dayron and Ruth Pepper.
Sue attended Hope Church in Gardendale, AL.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Damascus Cemetery in Lindale, TX with Brother Mike Morrow officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Robin Roden and Slay Memorial Funeral Center.
