Neil James Rohr

Neil James Rohr, 67, of Aubrey, TX, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025. Neil was born September 10, 1958, in Ellsworth, KS to LeVane Rohr and LuVera Agnes Stoecklein. He married Gloria Enslinger in Hays, KS August 2, 1980.

Neil was raised with a sense of curiosity and a strong work ethic. Graduating from Kansas State University, he set the stage for a distinguished career in Electrical Engineering with Texas Instruments. Over a remarkable span of 41 years, he worked with various companies, contributing his expertise and passion to the field.

After retirement, Neil returned to Texas. It was here that he cherished the fruits of his labor, sharing a loving marriage and family life. Traveling was a lifelong joy for Neil. Whether it was for work or personal adventures, he embraced every opportunity to explore new places and make lasting memories. In his later years, he discovered a passion for woodworking, creating many projects that showcased his talents through the years.

He was an enthusiastic supporter of his children. Taking joy in coaching soccer and baseball teams and never missing a chance to build sets for theater productions; Neil was always there, instilling so much love into Scott and Danielle. Above all, his favorite moments were those spent with his grandchildren. He treasured every second spent with them. Neil leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories that will forever remain in our hearts.

Neil is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria Rohr; son, Scott Rohr and wife Claudia; daughter, Danielle Lytle and husband Nic; brother, Keith Rohr; sisters, Sandy Rohr, Leigh Rohr, Mary Rohr; Father-In-Law, Cornelius Enslinger; Brother-In-Law(s), Darrell Enslinger, Dennis Enslinger and husband Tom, Dean Enslinger and wife Chelsea; grandchildren, Sophia, Maxwell, Jonathan, and Philip, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Neil was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Rohr; and parents, LeVane and LuVera Rohr.
