William Rohr Obituary
January 7, 1936 – October 20, 2025
William A. (Bill) Rohr, 89, born in Ridgewood, Queens, passed away peacefully at home in Stony Brook, New York on October 20, 2025.
Loving husband of Helen, father of William and father-in-law of Christine. Bill is also survived by his beloved sister Irene and many nieces and nephews.
After previously serving with the NYPD, then retiring from the FDNY in 1988 after 31 years of service, Bill enjoyed horse racing, building and flying remote controlled airplanes, polka music and taking meticulous care of his lawn. He will be missed; may he rest in eternal peace.
