Anna Jones

Anna Ra Jones, age 74, of Centerville, Texas passed away on May 4, 2024 in Centerville, Texas. She was born on November 13, 1949 in Ward County, Texas to Billy Eugene Evans and Rita Faye (Shields) Evans. Anna was a faithful lover of Christ and raised all of her children to know and believe in Jesus. She loved music and traveled with a southern gospel band for a while. Anna was a kind soul and enjoyed quilting.  She made a quilt for each grandchild.

Anna was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Rickie Jones; brother, Larry Evans; and great-grandson, Kealyne Durham, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Terry Jones (Lori) of Joshua, Texas and Rickie Jones, Jr. (Annette) of Magnolia, Texas; daughter, Tammy Jones Hamilton of Centerville, Texas; grandchildren, Michelle Springs, Wyatt Jones, Avery Jones, Reece Jones, Brandon Hamilton, Breanna Hamilton, Dustin Jones; and numerous great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for Anna will be held 2 P.M., Monday, May 13, 2024 at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. Bro. Tuffy Loftin will officiate the service. Interment will follow in North Creek Cemetery. A visitation will take place from 1 P.M. until service time.
