Anna L. Kizewski (95), passed away peacefully at home on April 5, 2025 with her children at her side. She was born on February 20, 1930, in the Town of Alban, one of 14 children of John Sr. and Katherine (Goskowicz) Kulas.
On June 29, 1953 Anna married the boy next door, her best friend and love of her life, Robert Kizewski. They moved to Milwaukee where they raised three children. Besides being a homemaker, Anna worked at Everitt Knitting Company and Master Lock. In 1988 Anna and Robert moved to Amherst to be close to their aging mothers. In 2013, two years after Robert's passing, Anna moved to Greenfield, WI, in the home of her daughter Renee Kizewski and lived there until her passing.
Anna loved gardening, canning, cooking, cleaning, art (painting), fishing, teaching CCD/Sunday School, taking care of people and more than anything else, she loved God and her family. Always trying to keep everyone happy, she could play dolls with her daughters and tackle football with her son all in the same hour.
Anna lived a life of service, caring for her mother, mother in law, brothers, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and even people she didn't know. Some of the greatest joys in her life came from spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as "Grannie Annie".
Anna had faith in God that could move a mountain. The power of prayer and the Holy Bible were the staples to her existence. Anna's canned response to almost everything was "Let's pray about it" - If someone wronged her, there was never any talk of vengeance or revenge or getting even - she would simply say "Let's pray for them". Anna was the perfect "life coach" to all that needed advice.
Anna is survived by 2 children, Renee Kizewski, Greenfield, WI and Gregory (Joni) Kizewski, St. Germain, WI; Six grandchildren: Melissa (Michael) Doda, Daniel O'Neil, Nathan (Laura) Hill, Joseph (Lauren) Hill, Holly Kizewski and Jordan (Claire) Kizewski; Eight great grandchildren: Drew Dickens, Mackenzie Doda, Richelle O'Neil, Joren O'Neil, April O'Neil, Charlie Hill, Oliver Hill and Evelyn Hill; Sisters: Agnes (the late Tony) Worzalla of Muskego, WI, Mary Ann (the late Robert) Riley of Sussex, WI and Barbara (the late Frank) Konkol of Rosholt, WI.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband Robert, Daughter Cynthia (Cid) Hill, son-in-law Dr. Allen Hill, Anna's Brothers Harry, Stanley, Anton, Victor, John, and Edward Kulas; Anna's sisters, Margaret Wierzba, Caroline Bronk, Elizabeth Mlodik and Angeline Mortin.
