Anna Kolar

Private Family Services for Anna L. Kolar, age 85, of Lynch, Nebraska will be held at a later date. Anna passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025 at the Accura Healthcare Center in O'Neill. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Biglin's Mortuary in Spencer. Anna Louise Lewis was born in Monowi, Nebraska to Frank and Vesta (Burger) Lewis. Anna grew up in Monowi and attended Lynch High School. She graduated with the class of 1957. After high school Anna worked as a clerk and also as a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. She met Charles J. Kolar and they later married on June 6, 1959 in Butte, Nebraska. To this union 3 children were born; Mary, Nancy, and Joseph. She loved her taking care of her flower gardens; especially her geraniums. Anna also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and also loved her cats. Anna is survived by her two daughters, Mary Kolar of Lincoln, NE and Nancy Berg of O'Neill; four grandchildren, Benjamin Berg of MN, Rebecca Berg of Atkinson, NE, Sarah (Brian) Berg of Emmett, NE, Charles (Mindy) Martin of Lincoln, NE; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Orval Lewis of Council Bluffs, IA; sister-in-law, Betty (Wayne) Cline of Fort Collins, CO. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; son, Joesph; granddaughter, Amber Murphy; son-in-law, William Berg; sisters, Ruth Lee and Emily Milacek.
