Anna Kooistra

Anna Kooistra, age 80, went home to be with her LORD and Savior on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Anna is lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, Harry; children and grandchildren, Anita and Chris VanBeek (Emily and Isaac, Clay, Austin and McKaylya, Abigail), Joanne and Chad Kienle (Ryan, Caleb), Marlene and Mike Sneller (Elijah, Luke, Seth), Jessica Kooistra; siblings, G. and Janny Gelderblom, Lenie and Gerrit Griffioen; sisters-in-law, Riek Gelderblom, Co Gelderblom, all of the Netherlands; Harry's siblings, Johannes and Bev Kooistra, Alice and Rudy Mollema of the Netherlands, Dick and Swanee Kooistra, Jane Kooistra of the Netherlands; many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family welcomes visitors on Friday, October 10, from 5 to 8 PM at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508. The funeral service will be held at Dutton United Reformed Church, 6950 Hanna Lake Ave. SE, Caledonia, 49316, on Saturday October 11, at 11 AM, with a visitation prior to the service from 10 to 10:45 AM, with Rev. Talman Wagenmaker officiating. The service will be live-streamed and can be viewed by following this link, https://www.duttonurc.org/live-stream/. Interment will be in Dutton Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Anna may be made to Word and Deed.
