Anna Leigh Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Dalton-Hoopes Funeral Home & Cremation Center - Tooele County on Apr. 29, 2025.
Anna Marie Leigh, Granny, Anna Banana, or just plainly Ma, passed away at the age of 61 due
to advanced breast cancer on April 23, 2025 surrounded by her family. Anna was a wonderful
and generous woman who was loved by many and a friend to everyone.
Anna lived her life to her own beat and didn't let any challenge hold her back from taking care of
the ones she loved, even if it meant giving up her last dollar. She will be missed, and the world
shines a little less brightly without her encouraging words and her support of the ones she called
family and friends.
Anna especially loved her five grandchildren. She would have them over anytime they were
available, taking the boys on adventures and spa days with her girls. Anna held tight to her
principles, faith, and her relationship with God. She demonstrated this through her actions rather
than her words, setting an example for her grandchildren of what it means to walk by faith.
She is survived by her two mothers Bonnie Sandquist and Francis Leigh, sisters Susan (Paul)
Randle, Peggy Rowley, brother Dan Sandquist, sons Chris (Melissa) Leigh, Alex Leigh, Michael
Sibson, and her five grandchildren Rafe, Daxton, Isla, Avalon, and Cohen. She was preceded in
death by her Father, Henry Wynston Leigh.
The family would like to thank the Huntsman Cancer Institute and the staff at the Rocky
Mountain Care Willow Spring facility.
A memorial open house will be held in her honor on Friday, May 16th from 5-7 PM at 311 S Main Street,
Tooele, UT.

Bonnie and Family, I am so sorry, I didn´t know she passed away. I know it has been a few months since her death, and someone, I think uncle Randy, told my aunt Ranell when she was looking for help for Lynette. No one could help. Lynette passed away 13 June 2025, from cancer that had spread throughout her whole body. Everyone´s gone, but me, and Jason. Hope you get this. I love you - all. Love, Nanette.
