Anna Marie (Vultagio) Trenga, 97, of Masury, OH passed away peacefully with her children at her bedside Wednesday evening, March 25, 2026, under hospice care in Community Commons, Warren, OH.
Mrs. Trenga was born October 15, 1928, in Buhl Hospital, Sharon, a daughter of the late Biagio and Anna (Babj) Vultagio. After graduating from Brookfield High School in 1947, Anna Marie completed her cosmetology studies at Wil Mar Beauty School.
She worked in the offices of George and Thomas Cone Co., Masury, OH, and Peerless Electric, Warren, and finally at the offices of Sharon Steel, where she met the love of her life, Carmine Trenga.
On September 21, 1957, Anna Marie married her beloved husband, Carmine Trenga, at St. Joseph Church, Sharon. He passed on April 25, 2018, following 60 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they had three wonderful children whom they loved and adored, and were later blessed with five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A dedicated homemaker, she also worked as a beautician on the weekends at Daisy Beauty Shop, and later, Richard’s Beauty Shop.
Anna Marie was a devout Catholic and lifelong member of St. Joseph Church in Sharon.
An animal lover, she especially loved her pet dog, Ginger, and was an accomplished tole painter. Anna Marie was a woman of many talents who loved cooking, baking, and hosting her family every Sunday until the age of 93. She also had a gift for writing, especially poems and books she wrote for her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Carmine G. Trenga, Jr. (Susan) and James V. Trenga (Tina), and a daughter, Roseann Sereday (Richard), all of Brookfield, OH; five grandchildren, Rich Sereday (Erika), Ryan Sereday (Lauren), Carlie McDonald (Kevin), Katie Vetica (Dominick), and Julia Trenga; five great-grandchildren, Richard, Franklin, Milania, Rocco, and Sienna; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Anna Marie was preceded in death by a sister, Janie Siegel.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to Healthy Hearts and Paws, 909 Martin Luther King Blvd SW, Warren, OH 44485; or St. Joseph Church, 79 Case Ave., Sharon, PA 16146.
Calling hours will be 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday (3-29-26) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday (3-30-26) in St. Joseph Church, Sharon, with Rev. James Power, as celebrant.
Interment: Brookfield Township Cemetery, Brookfield, OH.
