Anna Mary Martin

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Mary Martin, age 82, of Wrightsville, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 12 PM at the Williams Chapel Baptist Church, 1142 Georgia Highway 29, in East Dublin, Georgia. Reverend Lester Darrisaw will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Holly Spring Cemetery, 2345 Buckeye Road in East Dublin.
Anna Mary Martin She was born on July 14, 1943, in Sandersville, Georgia, to the late Otis and Lucille Snell.
On September 14, 1969, Anna married the love of her life, Mr. John Edward Martin, with whom she shared a beautiful union grounded in love, faith, and family.
In the beginning of her career, Anna was a kindergarten teacher. She even had the pleasure of teaching her oldest son in kindergarten. She worked hard at Buckeye and retired from Apparel Brand as an admired employee due to her work ethic and reliability.
Anna's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She cherished gatherings with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and found great fulfillment in worship and fellowship within her church community. Her faith was unwavering, and her heart was gentle and nurturing.
Mrs. Martin entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 30, 2025. She was preceded in death by her in-laws, Charlene Snell, Essie Martin, and Oletha Martin, David Martin, Joseph Martin, and Kenneth Bordley.
She leaves to cherish her memories to: her loving husband, Mr. John Edward Martin; her children, Kelvis Snell, Darick Martin, Randy Martin, and Alicia Buie; her daughters-in-law, Patricia Snell, Terese Martin, Syreeta Martin, and son-in-law, Traune Buie; her grandchildren, Kendrick Shine, Ashley Salter, Tavis Snell, Jamar Snell, Darick Martin, Jr., Darrienne Madkins, Randy Martin Jr., Brianna Martin, Ariel Martin, Layla Martin, and Amiyah Buie; four great-grandchildren Jayden Snell, Vanesa Flood, Nyla Snell, and Aaliyah Buie; her siblings, Otis Snell, Rose Bordley, Artis Snell, Doris Ann Martin, Ronnie Snell, Charles Snell, Marilyn Cason, Lambert Snell, and Travis Snell; her sisters-in-law, Jullene Snell, Paulette Snell, Georgette Snell, Evelyn Snell, Felicia Snell, Martha Johnson and Dorothy Harvey,, and brothers-in-law, Robert Cason, Solomon Martin, Larry Martin, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many friends.
Anna will be remembered for her loving spirit, gentle smile, and the legacy of faith she instilled in everyone she touched.
