Graveside services for Anna Beth Mayhugh will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at New Hebron Cemetery with the Reverend Will McNeese officiating. Anna Beth, age 30, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024, at Forrest General Hospital. Saulters Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, beginning at 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Saulters Moore Funeral Home.
Anna Beth will be carried to her final rest by those serving as pallbearers; they include John Riley, Jr., Kyle Riley, Josh Caldwell, Zach Mayhugh and Chase Roberts.
Anna Elizabeth Mayhugh was born on February 7, 1994 in Jackson, Mississippi to Timothy Dwayne and Rhonda Lynn Riley Mayhugh. Anna Beth, as she was known by the many that loved her, was a graduate of Lawrence County High School. An animal lover, she was very involved with 4-H as a young girl, winning Show several times at Dixie National for her prized sheep and goats. In addition, Anna Beth also had a love for cheerleading and was very active with her school squad as a young girl. She was a member of New Hebron Baptist Church.
Anna Beth is preceded in death by her mother, Rhonda Riley Mayhugh; her maternal grandparents, John Mark and Elizabeth Riley; her paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Jo Ann Mayhugh and her nephew, John Hendrix Mayhugh.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her son, Van Mayhugh of New Hebron; father, Timothy D. "Temo" Mayhugh of New Hebron; 2 brothers, Drew Mayhugh of New Hebron, Bryan DaSilva Mayhugh of Rio Janeiro, Brazil; Uncle and Aunt, John Mark, Jr. and Candy Riley, of New Hebron; Uncle and Aunt, Ken and Renee Mayhugh of New Hebron, Uncle and Aunt Jimmy and Patti Roberts of Jayess and her Great Aunts, Phyllis Runyon of Kingsport, TN and Katherine Tompkins of Mobile, AL. Anna Beth also leaves behind a host of cousins, extended relatives and friends.
