Anna McCoy Obituary
Anna Marie McCoy age 40, of Eubank, Passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky. Anna was born February 8, 1983 to Teresa Marlene McCoy and David Kenneth Sester at Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Ky.
Anna was a very warm hearted, high spirited, beautiful young lady who showed love to everyone she met. She enjoyed spending time with her children, dancing, drawing, being out in nature, and making others laugh. Anna brought so much joy into the life of others. She loved with her whole heart, She never let you leave without giving you a warm hug, and telling you how beautiful you are. Her warm hugs and fun loving personality will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We can all have peace knowing that in her last moments with us she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior.
Anna is survived by her parents Teresa Marlene McCoy of Somerset, KY, and David Kenneth Sester of Virginia, Sister Laresa Cheyanne Hopkins (Somerset, KY). Children Ski Devale Smittle (Kaylee Wesley) of Somerset, KY, Kodi Marie Easter of Science Hill, KY, Erin Bernice McCoy of Somerset, KY. Granny Mattie Bernice McCoy of Eubank, KY. Special friend Michael “Chuck” Easter of Science Hill, KY and a Nephew Marvin Lincoln Hopkins II Rockcastle, KY. As well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
Anna was preceded in death by her Papaw John McCoy, Grandmother Danna Sester, Uncle Jonny Eugene McCoy, Cousin Rebecca “Becky” Jean King, and special friend Carl “Rick” Smittle JR, and a host of great uncles and aunts.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 10, 2023 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 1:00 PM Friday, November 10, 2023.
